The Idea Behind the Brew Party
For a number of us living in downtown Phoenix, creativity is not an option - we must live imaginatively and we must "create" often.
For us, brewing beer has become an art form - a way in which we can "create". The nuances of flavor, aroma, and style are endless and when we brew, we have the ability to shape a beer that's never before been imagined.
The best part of brewing our own beer is being able to share it with friends and neighbors. There's something special about sharing our brews, getting feedback, and seeing people enjoy the beer. Taking this a step further, we wanted to share our homebrew beyond our group of friends, we wanted to share it with the city.
And the PHX BrewParty was born.
The PHX BrewParty is a community-focused, family-friendly, annual event that takes place in the front yard of a historic bungalow in Downtown Phoenix. It's in the "font yard" on purpose - a symbol of an inclusive event where all welcome. With help of local DJ's, some amazing brewers, and a host of friends & neighbors who help pull it off, the PHX Brew Party has become a highly anticipated evening of community, great brews, great music, and a lot of fun.
